Decoration for Halloween

Halloween is one of the most awaited festival. It is a day celebrated every year on 31st October around the world with a lot of pomp.Although, children enjoy it the most, but adults also findit very fun. Trick-or-treating, guising, carving pumpkins into jack-o-lanterns, attending costume parties, apple bobbing, playing pranks, visiting haunted houses, watching scary movies and telling scary stories all these are done on the Halloween. Basically, people enjoy by doing all kinds of scary stuff that they can do. Decorating the house with scary themes is a usual thing that people do on this day. When it comes to decorating your house for Halloween, there are unlimited ways you can have. Most of the scary stuff for doing them are readily available in the market. You will find skulls, gobble eyes, feathered crows, owls, cobweb, etc. There are a variety of things that you can make using them. There many things that you DIY. Here are listed some unique ideas for Halloween decoration.

  • Make scary Ghosts: Halloween decoration cannot go without a good ghost décor. You can try making some really scary ghost using chicken wire or other fencing. You can place them at different places around your lawn. All you have to do is, give a human shape to the chicken wire. When someone sees it from a distance, it will look like a ghost body. You can also make hanging ghosts with Styrofoam ball and cheese cloth. All you need to do is take a black marker and make big round eyes on the Styrofoam balls. Then, just cover them with cheese cloth and shred the cloth from it all edges. You can make numerous such ghosts and hang them everywhere in the house.
  • Craft with Pumpkins: Instead of carving pumpkins, you can do some other crafts with them and place them inside and outside of your house. You can design pumpkins with ribbons, buttons, and markers. You can do some glitter paint on them or do some drawing on them. You can also make some critters with pumpkins.
  • Trees: You can use some twigs and feathers to make a tree as a centerpiece. You can hang some skulls, gobble eyes, spiders, small pumpkins or paper bats on the tree. You can put some lightings on it.
  • Wreaths: Making a wreath is also a nice idea. You can make a wreath with twig and place some skulls and lights. You can also make a wreath using black feathers or natural pheasant feathers to make a wreath and stick scary stuffs like skulls, gobble eyes, bats, bony hands or pumpkins. You can use some ribbons on it.
